In May of 2007, Columbus, Ohio held a one day rock music festival at what was then Columbus Crew Stadium. The sold out event that featured acts like ZZ Top, Evanescence, Chevelle, Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin was so successful that it became an annual event in conjunction with AEG Live and Rock on the Range was born.
2016 marks the 10 year anniversary of the event, which is part of the World's Loudest Month festival series, and this year promises to be the biggest and baddest year to date. Headliners for the 3 day event to be held at the now Mapfre Stadium on May 20th-22nd include the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers, acclaimed filmmaker and heavy metal icon Rob Zombie and the heavily anticipated return of Disturbed. As if that wasn't enough the lineup is packed full of some of the biggest acts on the rock scene today including Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch, A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Megadeath, At The Drive In, Lamb Of God, Sixx AM, Pennywise, Hell Yeah and many more.
Along with so many great acts, Rock on the Range will also feature the return of fan favorites such as the Rolling Rock Comedy Tent and The Music Experience (formerly Crazy Dave's).
Rock on the Range has hosted a sold out crowd the last 3 years with over 120,000 fans in attendance each of the past two years and this year is sure to be the same. VIP and Camping packages have already sold out for the event however some tickets are still available.
With so many huge acts and everything the festival has to offer, this year promises to prove why Rock on the Range is the premiere rock music festival in the world!
