The 2015 LOUDER THAN LIFE music and gourmet food festival lineup has just been announced and includes Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Chevelle, ZZ Top, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Hollywood Undead, Tremonti, Collective Soul, Black Stone Cherry, Skid Row, We Are Harlot, Aranda, Like A Storm, 10 Years, Butcher Babies, Art of Dying, Seether, Three Doors Down and many, many more artists. "We're amped up about making the show at Louisville's Louder Than Life," said Billy Gibbons, frontman and guitarist for ZZ TOP. "It's a win/win/win with rockin' and rollin', terrific cuisine and downright drinkable drinks. Even while performing, we'll make a way to check it out." This year marks the 2nd year of the festival and will take place on October 3-4, 2015 in the same location as last year's LOUDER THAN LIFE festival at Champion Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Like last year, many camping options and pricing packages are available as well for this year's festival.
Last year's inaugural LOUDER THAN LIFE music festival featured over 30 of the biggest bands and artists, including Kid Rock, Judas Priest, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Limp Bizkit, Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington, Volbeat, Papa Roach and more, all rocking out on multiple stages with 38,826 people in attendance to witness and experience the "music, whiskey and gourmet man food festival." The recap video below highlights just some of the many incredible moments fans and bands shared together at Champion Park in Louisville, Kentucky in October of 2014.
The festival last year wasn't only aimed at satisfying your ear drums with your favorite bands, but also your stomach with well known celebrity chefs like Chris Santos, Bill Kunz and Tom Coghill on the Jagermeister Cooking Stage and over 70 food and beverage vendors, including the Jack Daniels chefs and their barbecue creations, all individually crafted in mind to celebrate the culinary heritage of Louisville itself. Festival creator Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents said, “I created the LOUDER THAN LIFE festival to highlight and celebrate the ‘culinary capital of bourbon country.’ And, of course, the cultures of rock & roll and bourbon go hand in hand!” Wimmer adds, “Louisville is famous for a lot of things, but many people don’t know what a great rock town this is. When I first came to Louisville, I fell in love with this city, its diverse food, its bourbon and its culture. It screamed ‘LOUDER THAN LIFE,’ and I was quickly convinced this is the perfect destination for this kind of all-encompassing festival.” The unique, crafted beers and bourbon available at the festival was just as impressive as the music lineup. The bourbon lineup on-site and on-hand at LOUDER THAN LIFE in 2014 included well known bourbon makers: Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Maker's Mark, Evan Williams and Buffalo Trace to name just a few. Some of the same bourbon makers are returning in 2015. The craft beer lineup consisted of beer and ale makers: IPA, Bluegrass Brewing Company, Lemongrass American Wheat, English Ale and many, many more crafted ales and beers which will also return in 2015. Artist inspired beverages were also available at LOUDER THAN LIFE in 2014 such as: Mastodon’s Black Tongue Double Black IPA, Iron Maiden’s Trooper Premium British Beer, Motörhead’s Bastards Lager, Motörhead Vodka and Slayer’s Reign in Blood Red Cabernet Sauvignon.
This year's LOUDER THAN LIFE FESTIVAL is sure to satisfy the most discriminative of taste buds with culinary experiences that span many palatable options as well as fans with diverse musical interests. Get your tickets now before they sell out and guarantee yourself a killer music and food experience in October that your ears, stomach and soul will thank you for later.
