June 5th Las Vegas, NV @ The Foundry at SLS ***fter nearly eight years, FOUR albums, countless tours as headliners and "can't miss" music Festival bills and hundreds of thousands of albums sold, HELLYEAH is making their biggest and boldest statement in 2016 with the upcoming release of the bands 5th album which is now being finalized for release in the first half of 2016. The band consists of Chad Gray on vocals, Vinnie Paul on drums, Tom Maxwell on guitar, Kyle Sanders on bass and Christian Brady (Guitar) who bring an explosive live show and growing catalogue of hit songs are about to embark on their biggest world tour since forming in 2006. Currently Kevin Churko is producing the bands currently untitled fifth album in in Las Vegas, NV.
Escape The Fate
This new album is, without any question in my mind, the best thing that has ever borne the Escape The Fate name by a distance,” enthuses frontman Craig Mabbit with no hint of hesitation. A remarkable statement given the last two ETF records gatecrashed the Billboard top 30. Indeed, with the group (completed by drummer Robert Ortiz and guitarists Thomas "TJ" Bell and Kevin "Thrasher" Gruft) now blessed with the most stable and creatively fertile line up they’ve enjoyed in years, Escape The Fate are gearing up to show the world the scale of the talents that, in truth, they have long possessed. “We wrote about 50 songs for this record,” explains Ortiz. “Which is by far the biggest body of work we’ve ever put together for an album. The hard process this time has been whittling those songs down to the very best and then making those ones better.” “It has been a real team effort this time around,” continues Mabbit. “We have all worked on lyrics, all contributed to the song writing process. We’re the most unified as a team I think we’ve ever been, certainly in my history in the band. I actually wish we hadn’t done a self-titled album already because I think this is our most definitive statement yet.”
NEW YEARS DAY
New Years Day follow in the dark tradition of tragic high-drama and grand theatricality embodied by the hitchhiking ghosts of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, the churning emotional smolder of HIM, iconoclastic bombast of Marilyn Manson and the savage flamboyance of Motionless In White. Gothic vampirism, heady fantasy and an adventurous spirit akin to Alice tripping through the looking glass swirl within New Years Day, led by the charismatic thunder of Ashley Costello. There’s an immediate, jarringly authentic punk-rock chaos about NEW YEARS DAY, an attitude of challenging, scrappy contrarianism against a backdrop of charming vulnerability. The sensitive melancholy in their music and imagery, coupled with a self-assured trumpeting of the pushed aside and the broken, has resulted in a new and unique tsunami that has thrilled crowds worldwide.
NEW YEARS DAY released their third full length studio album, Malevolence, in October 2015, which scored them their highest first week sales and Billboard Top 200 at #45. Malevolence was produced by Erik Ron (The Word Alive, Motionless In White) and is the band's first release on Another Century Records.
From Ashes To New
Blasting out of Lancaster, PA, FROM ASHES TO NEW is less a band, more a dynamic aural antidote to modern life’s perpetual grind. Based around the twin fulcrums of Matt Brandyberry’s relentless, twisting verses and Chris Musser’s razor-edged vocals, the sextet are already dealing in the sort of arena-ready anthems that will make you want to kick your 9-5 into the middle of next week. The band blends from the broadest of modern metal palettes to produce something both wholly unique and utterly compelling. A side project that turned into the main band for all involved, From Ashes to New fell together with members from other Lancaster, Pennsylvania bands that were falling apart. Vocalist and musician Matt Brandyberry started the band in joined by area veterans Chris Musser (vocals), Branden Kreider (guitar), and Tim d'Onofrio (drums). After releasing a self-titled EP that same year, the group entered the studio with producer Grant McFarland and released the Downfall EP on Better Noise Records in 2015 which is a four song sample of the bands upcoming debut album ‘DAY ONE’ out February 26, 2016th on Better Noise Records.
